Past Adventure - Bindi the Blue Banded Bee
Bush Buddies — October Adventure
Bindi the Blue Banded Bee
Bindi doesn't live in a big buzzing hive with hundreds of sisters. She digs her own tiny tunnel in a gum tree's roots, works the garden alone from sunrise, and has one trick almost no other bee can do: gripping a stubborn flower and shaking it, three hundred and fifty times a second, until the pollen gives in.
This edition invites children into Bindi's secretive, solitary little world, and sends them home with a flower garland and a scatter of tiny paper bees to build their own small patch of her magic.
What's included in this Bush Buddies Adventure:
- Letter from Bindi the Blue Banded Bee
- Collectors Curio Card featuring fascinating facts about the Blue Banded Bee
- Postcard (to keep or send)
- Themed Sticker Sheet
- Vinyl collectible Passport "Stamp" sticker
- DIY Flower Garland craft (die-cut native flowers to thread themselves).
Each Bush Buddies adventure is designed to spark curiosity about Australian wildlife and encourage children to explore the natural world.
